“This great product will further strengthen our Chevrolet product portfolio offering which has rapidly expanded over the past two years. The response from customers has been very favourable with our Chevrolet sales volumes growing by over 50 percent in 2011 versus 2010. ”
The second generation of the TrailBlazer was unveiled at the Dubai Motor Show in November 2011. Gauld added that General Motors were “very excited about the addition of the TrailBlazer into our already strong line up of Chevrolet products in the South African market.”
The TrailBlazer model line-up and pricing would be announced closer to the time of launch, Gauld said.
